Matt serves as Sunlight’s CEO and is a member of the Board of Directors. Matt joined Sunlight from Bank of America where he was a Senior Vice President responsible for the Bank’s $90 billion home equity portfolio.
Prior to Bank of America, Matt served as the Chief Operating Officer of Swift Financial, a small business lender. Before Swift, Matt held senior credit, marketing and operations roles at MBNA America and assisted in the launch of MBNA’s Canadian operations.
Chief Financial Officer
Rodney serves as Sunlight’s CFO. He has over 25 years of experience in financial planning, treasury, and consumer credit. Before Sunlight, Rodney served in increasing roles of responsibility at Barclays.
Prior to Barclays, he served as Treasurer of Swift Financial. Rodney started his career at MBNA America, which was acquired by Bank of America, where he spent 16 years in a variety of roles, including as CFO for Merchant Acquiring.
Rodney holds a B.S. and an MBA from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics from the University of Delaware.
Head of Human Resources
Darrell serves as Sunlight’s Head of Human Resources. Darrell joined Sunlight from Wells Fargo where he served as a Human Resources Executive driving strategic people solutions to enable the company’s risk transformation.
Over his 20+ year career, Darrell has worked in various senior HR and business leader roles within the financial services, biopharmaceutical and higher education sectors.
Darrell holds a B.S. in Organizational Dynamics from Wilmington University and a M.S. in Organizational Effectiveness Development & Change from the University of Delaware.
Chief Information Officer
Scott serves as Sunlight’s CIO. Before Sunlight, Scott served as CTO of Softcard, a mobile wallet joint venture formed by AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile and acquired by Google.
Prior to Softcard, Scott held several leadership positions at GE Capital, including CIO of GE Retail Finance and GE Commercial Finance.
Scott holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
Chief Executive Officer
Tim serves as Sunlight’s CEO. Tim joined Sunlight from Citigroup, where he led risk management for Citi’s Sears credit card portfolio.
Before Citi, Tim held senior credit, operations and analytics roles at Swift Financial, a small business lender, as well as JP Morgan Chase and MBNA America. Tim’s nearly 20 years of credit experience spans consumer and small business credit cards, unsecured personal loans, medical practice finance, small business cards and lines, and retail sales finance.
Tim holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Delaware.
Head of Business Development & Marketing
Yoni serves as Sunlight’s Head of Business Development and Marketing. Before joining Sunlight as its first employee, Yoni led business development for Amprius, an energy storage company.
Prior to Amprius, Yoni contributed to Greentech Media, helped Clean Power Finance win DOE SunShot grants, and worked in impact investing, at venture capital firms DBL Investors and Israel Cleantech Ventures. Earlier in his career, Yoni reported about college basketball for Fox Sports and directed communications for political campaigns.
Yoni holds a J.D. from the Yale Law School and a B.A. in Political Science and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
